Please dress as fun (or not) as your heart desires. We are wearing short dresses and the party is taking place in a bar that serves Shrek-themed cocktails. No need to break out the opera gloves (unless you want to).
The good news is that the Music Box is right off of the CTA's Brown Line and a few major bus routes, and it's always easy to get an Uber to and from the Southport Corridor area.
The bad news is that it's also a stone's throw from Wrigley Field and (flashlight under chin) the Cubs are playing an afternoon game that day. If you are driving it might be worth finding street parking further away and getting on the train or grabbing an Uber the rest of the way.
More info on travel directions & parking can be found on the Music Box's website, and you can check out reserved parking options for the evening of the 10th on SpotHero.
Braving Wrigleyville on a game day to celebrate with us after a couple of very long years is the most generous gift we could possibly receive. Please don't worry about getting us anything!
If you'd like to give a gift, please consider a donation to The Greater Chicago Food Depository, our local food bank; The Night Ministry, which provides housing and health care services to young people experiencing poverty & homelessness; or Equal Hope, which works to increase access to screening and care for breast & cervical cancers.
